In addition to our well-known Day Camp and Summer Stock Theatre programs, The Roeper School offers Roeper Summer Specialty Camps - camps smaller in size and shorter in duration focusing on a specific topic. These camps allow campers to have fun and learn from Roeper teachers who are experts in their fields. Camps are available for children currently in grades 3 through 11. All Roeper Summer Specialty Camps will be held at The Roeper School's Birmingham campus. 


The Roeper Harry Potter Camp is a week long camp for students currently in grades 3 through 5 that allows the die-hard Potter fan to particiapte in all the wonderfulness of Harry Potter. Project based learning allows students to experience Harry Potter in a unique way!

The Roeper Science Camp offers students  who love science and are currently in 5th through 7th grades a week long opportunity to explore science concepts with hands-on activities in real-life situations.  Available this year are - 3D Printing and Design  or  VEX IQ Robotics.

The Roeper Forensics Acting Camp is a two-week long program for students currently in 5th through 8th grade in which students use plays, stories, poems, or their own writing to focus in on the details of performance and public speaking. Students can perform in a solo piece, with a partner, or in a group performance. Participants will be working with some of the top forensics coaches in the state of Michigan! 

The Roeper Photography Workshop Camp is a unique hands on experience where students explore the magic of black and white pinhole photography using an authentic darkroom. Students currently in 6th to 11th grade will shoot a variety of pinhole cameras, produce paper negative, make positives in the darkroom and learn how to hand color black and white photographs. 

The Roeper High School Debate Camp is a two-week long, half-day program for students currently in 8th through 11th grade where students will learn the ins and outs of formal and informal debate. Each daily session will focus on a different topic. The goal of the camp is to prepare students for the upcoming debate season.
